Less than a minute after the opening whistle, the Long
Island Rough Riders took a 1-0 lead in the match. Long

penalty box. There was a bit of a scramble as

loose ball and got a quick shot off which found the back of
the net. Despite Charlotte's offensive efforts to
score the equalizer, the Eagles were unable to finish any
opportunities before the half time whistle.
The Charlotte Eagles got on the scoreboard six minutes into
the second half. Joseph Kabwe set up the goal with a
serve to the back post. Adam Ruud was the to finish
nicely with a right foot shot.
