The Charlotte Eagles have infiltrated the inner city of Charlotte to seek the spiritually lost.  The Urban Eagles desire to reach out through the building of boys’ soccer teams to make an impact in these urban neighborhoods.  The Eagles have a holistic (body, soul, spirit) approach by meeting the needs of the boys who participate as well as their families.  The Eagles have officially partnered with two local churches: Center City Chapel and Myers Park Presbyterian.  We have also partnered unofficially with ministries such as Crisis Assistance, the Society of St. Andrew (Gleaning American Fields), Catholic Social Services, Serving Strangers, Sports Outreach Institute and three other local churches: Renovatus, Steele Creek Church of Charlotte, and the Gathering Uptown. We offer tutoring, ESL, Bible Study, soccer instruction, and meeting basic needs such as food, clothing, furniture, and transportation.  The Urban Eagles have a presence in four neighborhoods each having its own demographic and culture. These are: Dillehay Courts, Woodbridge Apartments, Grier Heights Community, and Birchcroft Apartments.
