Cost: $1800 (covers all transportation, food, housing and ministry costs except transportation to and from Charlotte)

The Charlotte Lady Eagles have been invited to participate in the women’s soccer tournament that accompanies the annual flower festival in early August in Medellin, Colombia. The Eagles have been partnering with the local sports ministry, Christian Union Sports Club (CDUC), for over four years and this would be a next step to enhance and develop sports ministry there.  CDUC aims to use soccer teams and their coaches to draw young people out of a life of drugs and gangs and into a personal relationship with God. Besides participating in the tournament the Lady Eagles will also be directing a 3 day camp for U16 girls in partnership with CDUC teams and local churches.
