The Charlotte Lady Eagles are excited to be going to Chile to partner with the local church in Sports Ministry. The Lady Eagles’ goal is to train and equip Christian athletes to intentionally use the game of soccer as a platform for sharing their personal faith in Jesus Christ.  The Lady Eagles have been doing local ministry but have not left the country for three years.  This international experience will broaden their horizons on how to be a Sports Minister out of their comfort zone.

While on the tour we will be partnering with local missionary Cliff Case with whom MAI has worked with previously in Uruguay.  The ladies will lead soccer clinics, play high level matches, build relationships, help with the training of Chilean Sports Ministry leaders and look to share the love of Jesus with all the ones they meet.  Your prayers are coveted for this venture that God will provide the support team necessary for the ladies to be used by the LORD in a mighty way.

The tour lies during a break in the Lady Eagles season between games in Hampton Roads on May 22 and in Tampa on June 4 and 5.
