The Charlotte Lady Eagles will take on the South Carolina College Allstars in a preseason charity benefit match for former Charlotte Lady Eagles player Sarah Turner. The game will be played on Saturday, May 5th at 1:30 pm as part of a Soccer Celebration event hosted by Carolina Elite Soccer Academy at the MeSA Fields:

Sarah Turner was diagnosed and underwent surgery for Bone Cancer in May 2006. She is currently attending classes and will graduate later this year from Clemson. Prior to playing for the Lady Eagles, Sarah was a member of 2 State Championship teams at Eastside H.S., she was also a member of the Golden Strip USA team which won South Carolina's first Southern Regional Championship in 2001. Turner played 4 seasons as a starter for the Clemson Lady Tigers.
