Join the Charlotte Eagles for the 2007 Charlotte Eagles Soccer Jam brought to you by Cool K104.7 and Kiss 95.1. The Soccer Jam is a FREE soccer festival with skills competitions, Epicenter Speed & Agility training station, Soccer Clinics coached by the Charlotte Eagles, Inflatables, Performance by the Red Bull Street Juggling Team, Prizes & Giveaways, Music, tasty food and more.
Registration is required to participate in the Dribble, Pass and Shoot Competition and to recieve your FREE Soccer Jam T-shirt, and FREE ticket for the Eagles and Lady Eagles doubleheader.
SOCCER JAM SCHEDULE:
1:30 pm Check-in U6, U8, U10, and U12 Boys and Girls 2:00 pm U6-U12 Dibble, Pass and Shoot Competition begins
3:30 pm Check-in U14, U16 and U18 Boys and Girls
4:30 pm U14-U18 Dribble, Pass and Shoot Competition begins & Shooting on Lady Eagles Goalkeeper
5:00 pm Eagles Soccer Clinic #1
5:30 pm Shooting on Charlotte Eagles Goalkeeper & Lady Eagles match begins
6:00 pm Eagles Soccer Clinic #2
8:00 pm Eagles Pro match begins
The Dribble, Pass and Shoot Competition: U6-U18 boys and girls segments.
Dribble: Players will dribble through a series of flags. The fastest time wins .
Pass: Players will pass four balls through gates with different point values. The player with the most points wins.
Shoot: Players will take four shots at a goal. There will be targets with different point values. The player with the most points wins.
Dribble, Pass and Shoot participants will receive a free T-shirt and a ticket to the doubleheader. All other family members and friends may purchase a ticket at the advance rate of $8 for adults and $5 for youth (ages 6-18) online at www.charlotteeagles.com, by phone at 704-841-8644 ext. 32 or at the stadium until 7 pm.
Individual Scoring:
1) Each age classification will announce winners for the top six places for Dribbling, Passing and Shooting.
2) Points will be awarded as follows: 10 points for 1st place, 8 points for 2nd place, 6 points for 3rd place, 4 points for 4th place, 2 points for 5th place and 1 point for 6th place.
3) The overall winners in each age group will be determined by adding together point totals from the dribbling, passing and shooting competitions. In case of a tie, the dribbling time will be the tie breaker.
Club scoring will be determined by adding together all the points won by all participating club members.
