Charlotte Eagles Announce Kyle Hunt as Assistant Coach for USL2 Team

The Charlotte Eagles of the United States Soccer League Second Division have named Kyle Hunt as an assistant coach. Hunt has a lot of experience both playing and coaching. He has spent the last two years in Charlotte apart of the Eagles organization.
A long time resident of Charlotte, Hunt spent last Fall coaching in the Eagles Youth Club for both the 05’ Boys Orange and Blue teams. In 2017 Hunt was an assistant coach at Belmont Abbey College. Prior too coming on staff with the Eagles, Hunt coached at One7 Academy from 2012 to 2016, was an Assistant Coach at Garinger High School from 2012-2015, and was the Head Coach at Carmel Christian High School in 2015-2016. Hunt has enjoyed success at every level he has coached at. While at One7 he helped them win 3 US Club National Championships, and also helped the Garinger High School become one of the most successful programs in the state . As the head coach for Carmel Christian School he took them to NCISAA Final Four in 2016.
As a player Hunt played his High School career under former Charlotte Eagles Alumni Aaron Faro, who is now an assistant at Messiah college. After High School Hunt went to Milligan College in Johnson City, TN where he played from 2008-2011. After graduating from college Hunt moved back to Charlotte and went straight into ministry with One7. 
Hunt has been a great addition to the Charlotte Eagles staff since coming over in 2016 and was apart of the inaugural launch of the Eagles Youth Club. He will be the coach of the USL2 reserve team in the summer. Hunt is “extremely blessed and grateful for the opportunity that God has placed in my life to help coach the USL2 team and to work with Coach Bireline.” Hunt adds a lot of coaching experience and success to a transitional time for the Charlotte Eagles. Charlotte is blessed to have such a humble and faithful servant of Jesus on the coaching staff as they move forward into new adventures. Hunt will add a lot of value and life experience to a young Eagles team.
